Robert Kiyosaki, the celebrated author of "Rich Dad Poor Dad," has recently shared insights into how he amassed his wealth, with a focus on the significance of resources over technology. Kiyosaki's book, co-authored with Sharon Lechter in 1997, has sold over 32 million copies worldwide and remained on the New York Times Best Seller List for over six years. It's a globally recognized work, translated into 51 languages and available in more than 109 countries.

Kiyosaki, in a post on social media platform X on December 24, pointed out the upcoming Vancouver Resource Investment Conference (VRIC) on January 20-21, where he will be a keynote speaker. He believes this event is crucial for investors in 2024, emphasizing that the future of stock and bond markets lies in startups focused on resources, not those in Silicon Valley's tech sector. Kiyosaki credits his financial success to investments in resources rather than technology.

He recounted his beginnings at the VRIC 25 years ago, inviting others to join him at the conference to be part of the anticipated boom in the investment world. The VRIC, organized by Cambridge House International, brings together over 300 junior mining companies, showcasing exploration and production of critical commodities needed for the 21st century. Jay Martin, CEO of Cambridge House and host of VRIC, highlights the event's significance in the current era of de-globalization. He anticipates a skyrocketing demand for key resources amid shifting global trade dynamics.

Kiyosaki, in an interview at last year's VRIC with Stockpulse, shared his experiences of learning more about entrepreneurship and international trade at the conference than through any other means. He advises young people to gain real-life experience and cautions against solely relying on textbook knowledge, emphasizing the value of practical insights shared by miners at the conference. However, he also warns that gold mining is a high-risk business.

At the conference, Kiyosaki focuses on gold, silver, and copper. He narrated his success with a silver mine in Argentina, later acquired by Yamana Gold, and his public listing of Trixie Mine in Utah. Kiyosaki practices what he preaches, owning significant amounts of gold and silver.

A proponent of gold, silver, and bitcoin, Kiyosaki considers these assets as the best investments during unstable times. He has continuously advocated for bitcoin, urging investors to purchase it before it's too late, and has openly discussed his reasons for buying BTC regularly. Kiyosaki's approach to investment, focusing on tangible resources and digital assets like bitcoin, reflects his belief in diversified and strategic asset allocation, especially in times of economic uncertainty.
